Curriculum Message
Dear Parents and School community,
We want to inform our Slade Point School community about our new approach to reporting student progress. Starting this semester, we will provide plain language academic reports twice a year for all students from Prep to Year 6.
Here’s what you can expect in the reports:
- Each subject will be reported on separately.
-The front cover of the report features the achievement, effort and behaviour scale.
- You will see your child’s achievements based on a clear reporting scale.
- We will also include a statement on your child’s behaviour and effort.
Additionally, parents will have the opportunity to discuss your child’s achievement and progress with their teacher in Week 3 of Term 3.
We believe this new style of reporting will help you better understand your child’s progress and support their learning journey. Thank you for your continued support!
