Run for MI Life
Mackay based Charity, Run for MI Life, are holding their 10th Annual event on the 20th of October 2024, at Wests Leagues Club in Walkerston, and they are hoping to make this year’s event their best yet. We are hoping that all schools and sporting clubs in the Mackay region will assist us by sharing our flyer and or using our newsletter insert to invite your communities along.
Registrations are open now and our special 10 Years Commemorative runner's shirts are available for purchase with registration until August 23rd. We suggest that 1 person registers and sets up a team in your school or sporting club name, then individuals register themselves and join the team. You may wish to wear your own shirts, as a way of making your presence visible at the event, as you will be supporting such an important cause. Unfortunately, suicide prevention is still very much needed in our local community, and, as always, we promise to keep all funds raised in this community.
