Principal's Desk
Welcome to Week 9!
I would like to invite all parents, community and carers to our special Parade. Monday 9th of December. This will be held in the hall at 8:45 am. This is to celebrate the upcoming retirement of Mrs Janelle Alexander.
I would like to congratulate all of the year 5 students who presented their speeches last Wednesday. All students presented speeches very confidently and showed that they are a credit to their families and teachers.
Our whole of school orientation session was a wonderful success. It was great to see all of our new prep parents attending with the child or children who are enrolling in Prep for 2025.
Book lists were handed out on Tuesday at the orientation morning. They are also on our school web site, or you can pop into the 4 stores that have our booklists, Evans Ave, Mt Pleasant Nexta, Coles complex Andergrove, and Mackay School Supplies, and of course you can pop in and see Mrs Beros in the office.
I would like to thank the P and C for opening the uniform shop all day on Tuesday 26th November.
Report Cards will be handed out in Week 11. This is the last week of term four. The last day of the term is December 13th. School will be operating as normal for week 11.
Parents are kindly request to notify the office about any extenuating circumstances, that may require early pick up of a report card. The school can prepare report cards for early pick up on Thursday December the 5th.
Chappy Peter and Aunty Wave are busy organising book packs. Families will be notified about the book packs later in the term. The Student Council will be supporting the packing of book packs. Thank you to Miss Causon and the Student Council.
