Student wellbeing and engagement are increasingly recognised as important aspects supporting student learning. We know they play an important part in educational outcomes and are key to students fulfilling their potential in life after school. To this end, the department has developed the Queensland Engagement and Wellbeing (QEW) Survey, and we are pleased to invite Slade Point State School to participate in the 2025 collection.
Schools that participate will receive reports that will help inform approaches to student engagement and wellbeing, a key focus area in the Equity and Excellence strategy and aligned to the Student Learning and Wellbeing Framework. The QEW survey will be administered between weeks 1-4 of Term 2 (22 April – 16 May) 2025. The survey takes up to 30 minutes for secondary students and 45 minutes for primary students to complete and asks questions about many aspects of students' wellbeing, engagement and experience at school.
Thank you to year 4 for participating in the survey. The year 4 students in the 3-4 class will also be completing the survey.
