Sladey Solvers
Sladey Solvers!
The Sladey Solvers is a group of students who come together each week to work on problem solving activities and have lots of fun. This is what they said about their work in term 1:
“This term, the Sladey Solvers have been having lots of fun with a boat building challenge. Using only masking tape, polymer clay, paper, string and cotton reels, groups of students had to make sure their boat floated and held a Lego person.
The skills used were; collaboration, teamwork, managing emotions, taking turns, leadership, problem solving, sharing ideas and trial and error.
Overall, it was fun, exciting and great, with some healthy competition. It was chaotic, but a very good experience.”
- Sladey Solvers Students, with Mrs Henderson and Mrs Dawson.
