School Gates - Will be locked from 8:45am every day except Monday for parade.
LATE SLIPS - If your child arrives at school after 8:30am, they will need to come through the office to collect a late slip for their teacher.

Sladey Solvers (Maths Competition)
Mackay Maths Challenge
Congratulations to year 5 and 6 students Slader, Milly, Angella, Thayne and Cienna who participated in the Mackay Primary Maths Challenge on Friday 25th July. The competition was held at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School and was a morning of challenges, problem solving and teamwork. There were two sections to the competition, the team challenge, which involved the group of five students working together to answer ten tricky problems, then the relay challenge. The relay was fast-paced and exciting and involved pairs trying to solve a problem before giving their answer to a team mate to race it to the supervisor for checking. This was a great opportunity for the students to work through difficult multi-step maths problems under time pressure. Well done everyone! Thank you also to Mrs Dawson for helping to prepare the students to tackle some tricky new maths concepts.
