Principal messages
Welcome to Week 10!
In Term 3, students have been participating in quality learning and engaging, fun and focused classrooms.
Thank you to all teachers for a great term of learning.
Thank you to all our community who supported our 2025 Culture Day. The food from different cultures was delicious and generously supplied. The staff, students and our culture day activities support staff enjoyed the food immensely.
Thank you to Mrs Henderson and Miss Menzies for preparing students for the Eisteddfod successes and work with our students.
This term was busy and exiting.
On behalf of the 3-4 students and Miss Blackman I would like to thank Leah Scoble (Project Officer) for Conservation Volunteers Australia. The Year 3-4 class thoroughly enjoyed the totally free excursion to Cape Hillsborough on the 11th of September.
Aus Kick has visited the school and had 12 Students participate in the $55 learn to play clinic.
The puppet shows for Prep to year 2 were a wonderful success.
Please make note of a friendly reminder about storing mobile phones in the office. All students must deliver their phone to the office.
Please also ensure your child has a HAT for play. We are a Sun Safe School and summer is approaching fast.
Thank you to all students who wear their helmets to school. Please remind your child to ride slowly on the footpaths, wear their helmet and to travel home safely at the end of each school day.
Thank you to Mrs Geiger, Miss Jade and Mrs Ford for all their work with Culture Day. Also, Miss Jade for your work with Wakakirri.

New things Happening in the School and New Ideas: -
Celebrating our Successes: - Students have already received many tokens for their excellent behaviour and leaning. We are now introducing the Golden Token. This Token is for students who have over 125 tokens.
Our Sladey Superstars has been very successful, and many students have received awards.
During parades, we are always celebrating the great behaviour displayed by our students. Students are presented with their 25 Token certificate and then 50, 75 and 100 badges on parade each week.
Facilities and Maintenance: -
C Block will have some work completed during next term. This is mainly around the ceiling being replaced. A date has not been given for the work to commence.
Our Prep-1 and Year 3 classes have moved to alternative classrooms, pending work commencing.
I am very pleased to announce that All Modular Buildings have now been completed with boarding at the bottom.

2nd December Week 9 Tuesday Transition Morning 9:00 am to 10:00 am New Classes Meet in the UCA 9:00 am to 10:00 am Prep students for 2026 to meet new teachers. All year 7 students to attend a full day of transition and orientation at Pioneer High School.
